HABER
660 gaff sloop - is a comfortable
sailing yacht which performs equally well on lakes, coastal waters
and open sea. Its design is based on that of the HABER 580. We
added length and better equipment to make the boat more comfortable.
The interior layout ensures comfort unlike other yachts of this
size. Despite the small draught, the yacht cannot capsize thanks
to the adequate permanent inside ballast and the hull's body.
The yacht has been granted the CE (European Certificate) certificate
in category C for inshore navigation as well as in category B
for offshore navigation. The high and well-glazed superstructure
provides for a standing height in the cabin of 1.85 m and an exceptional
visibility during navigation. The HABER 660 offers numerous lockers
and cupboards. In the forepeak there is a double berth, and the
other one, also double, is created in the cabin after lowering
the table. There is also a comfortable galley and a separate toilet-room,
optional with shower. The HABER 660 enables up to 4 people to
live in comfortable conditions.
HABER
800 gaff sloop - After 2 years
from its first presentation, the HABER 800 confirmed the success
achieved earlier by HABER 660. Characteristically for all HABERs,
this one also has a spacious cabin with 5 berths, 1.90m of standing
height, a separate forepeak and a toilet-room, comfortable galley
and plenty of storage space in the lockers. All this ensures comfort
unlike other yachts of this size. Auxiliary propulsion is provided
for by a stationary Diesel engine with power ranging from 10 to
25 HP. The easy-to-operate and efficient gaff sails give the yacht
very good nautical properties. Thanks to a special solution the
mast can be lowered and set upright in about 15 minutes by one
person. In the last two years we have devised additional solutions
connected to the sails, making navigation in difficult storming
conditions on the sea possible. We have also created a set of
centerboards allowing a full course stability - the HABER 800C4.
There is something that makes the HABER 800's stability profile
very unusual - it can right itself from any heel, the 180-degree
heel included. This is the so-called tumbler-toy effect.
HABER
800 gaff cutter
- In its first version the HABER 800 was
a gaff sloop -the HABER 800 gaff sloop. However, during the developmental
works there came into being another version with sails typical
of a cutter - the HABER 800 gaff cutter. Adding the bowsprit enabled
us to use a large genoa with area of ca. 22 m2 for light winds.
This together with the basis set of sails results in ca. 55m2
of the sails' area. As a result of this the yacht's performance
in light winds was greatly improved, without having to use sails
such as gennaker or spinnaker. When equipped with a bow centerboard,
the HABER 800C4 gaff cutter is capable of sailing in close hauled
course with 3 sails up at the same time, including the fore sail
and genoa. Using the bow centerboard with this set of sails when
sailing in close reach course is not necessary. With main sail
and genoa up, the yacht holds to the close hauled course if the
main centerboard is used, but the use of the bow centerboard is
not necessary. This type of rigging makes the boat look even more
graceful.
HABER
800C4 - We have developed a system
of separately operated centerboards that allow you to achieve
full directional stability on nearly any course and under any
sailing conditions. Simultaneously, we have been working on additional
solutions concerning gaff rigging. They increase the HABER 800s
ability to sail in heavy storm conditions on the sea. All these
features make HABER 800 a unique, efficient and comfortable yacht
with particularly small draught, a yacht which is suitable for
longer journeys. It is for cruising on shallow inland waters as
well as on the open sea. The HABER 800C4 yacht is being produced
also in gaff sloop and gaff cutter version.
